Is Your Financial Ceiling Too Low?
We've all been taught since we were 5-years old, from kindergarten and throughout public school, the whole goal is to get a good job right?
The problem is that in any job there's always a ceiling. There are very few jobs where people make high six to seven figures. Sometimes more.
Most jobs are five figure a year jobs and that was the problem I was having when I was 27-years old working my website sales job. It's making $40k - $45 a year and I had set some pretty lofty goals for myself earlier on in my life.
When I was 20/21, I set a goal to be a millionaire by the time I was 30 and set a goal to be to make a million dollars in a calendar year by the time I was 35. I was 27-years old still making the average American income working my butt off and I was much closer chronologically to the goal than I was financially.
And so, I started to look around my industry looking at the top sales guy. “Well, what does he make?” A little more than double my income, nowhere near where I wanted to be. That's when I started studying wealthy individuals to realize that business ownership and real estate investing was the path that I wanted to go down.
